Due to my poor english grade, I've been trying hard to fix it. Most of my time so far has been focusing on the midterm, so very little of the Giver episode has been complete. Also this week, my reading teacher assigned us this LOOOOOONG chapter in my textbook, which is literally taking me the whole week to finish annotating. When I have free time, I'll post the results of the Other Cosplay catagory and the Giver episode.
Completed work of last month:
I've had this Peanuts obsession recently. I don't know. I liked the Peanuts as a kid, and it suddenly came back. I wanted to know what the characters would look like as an anime, so I was inspired to draw this.
The Voodoo Kids-Casual Collection. I had a hard time coming up with outfits for Jasmine, Alice and Clara, since I don't pay attention to children's clothing. Well I do, but most of them have copyrighted images that would take me forever to replicate. I wanted to give Alice a Mickey Mouse shirt, but it came out pretty crappy. I then thought about what I wore when I was there age. It was a lot of pinks and purples along with tight fitted jeans. (Becuase no one knew what size I was) And I came up with these outfits. And personally, Alice's is my favorite. The influence came from one of my Aunt's since she looks young for her age and Stocking from Panty and Stocking, but with a more preppy feel instead of a loli goth. Tanya's was pretty simple to come up with since I wanted her to have a spiritual style of clothing by adding african prints.

Top 11 Cartoons/Comics Cosplay 2014So this is the third countdown of the Cosplay round up. I combinded these two catagories just becuase of lack of time and their numbers were very small compared to last year. This cosplay countdown consists mostly of DC Comics and Disney cartoons, however I tried to vary it up with different Disney/DC characters.

I love a picture that can recreate another picture. This recreates an image from Disney's the Little Mermaid. As simplistic as it is, it deserves a spot on this list.

Sorry things are running really slowly with this being only the second of I believe seven countdowns. Balancing school, on top of a reviewing career is tough. Time to countdown who had the best magical girl cosplays.
11) niicakes's Puffy Skirtz
There is not a lot of Tokyo Mew Mew cosplay out in the world of deviantart, though Niicakes as well as some other reoccurring deviants on this countdown have provided some really good ones. This picture reminds me of the twenty sixth episode, where the mews have to fight on Tokyo Tower against the aliens and the giant moth...with Berry included. I like the setting and I like the models who portrayed Berry and Ichigo.

I recently got Wario Ware DIY, since I loved Wario Ware Mega Party Games for the Game Cube, reconnecting with one of my childhood favorites. I didn't know any of the characters names other than Wario, since he is known in the Mario franchise. I know there was a hot girl (Mona), twin ninjas, a ghost, and some guy with a construction hat. And apparently none of these guys were very important according to Nintendo becuase there is a very small description of everyone, except some goth chick that I don't remember. Anyways, Mona was my main charcter whenever I played the game and I wanted a cool picture of her. This picture gives her a sexy feel and I love her eyes.

I saw a review of Miari Nicky recently, that gave me a brief idea of what the show is like. I don't know who recommended it to me, since its not really my thing. From what I know, Yuno is a yandere. In other words a crazy woman, who will KILL for her love. This cosplayer represents her well with the expression, the weapon and I'm curious to know what those red dots are. Roses or photoshop blood stains? Either way, its a pretty cool picture.

This year, I am doing something a little different regarding the first section of my top 100. I’ll be writing short stories based on an assortment of songs.
